Intravesical Your Eterocele in an Incomplete Double Collecting System: A Case Report
Introduction
A ureterocele is a congenital anomaly of the urinary tract characterized by cystic
dilation of the distal ureter . It’s usually associated with a duplicated collecting system (80%).
Diagnosis is usually via imaging, especially antenatal ultrasound. Treatment options depend on
several factors; endoscopic puncture is the least invasive approach with good outcomes.
Conclusion
This case highlighted a rare congenital anomaly in the paediatric population –
intravesical ureterocele in an incomplete duplicated system. Early detection and intervention are
crucial in preserving renal function and preventing complications.
